It is
raining pretty good as we leave the dock and head over to Port Elizabeth. We
have never been there before and the guide books say it is a nice anchorage. We saw quite a few dolphins in Knight Inlet
and they played in our wake. They are so
much fun to watch. They put on quite a show.
The closer we got to Port Elizabeth the more logs we saw in the water
and had to dodge. I don’t think we have
ever seen so many in one place. Looks
like a lot of escapees from a log boom. As
we turned into Port Elizabeth we made way to Maple Cove anchorage. This bay is HUGE and full of logs. We actually had them bumping into us as the
tide went in and out. We weren’t in the mood
to change anchorages so we put up with it.
